“Since 1992, my number one focus has been helping people who suffer with painfully chronic spinal conditions.  Our patients have been diagnosed with degenerative disc disease, spinal arthritis, disc herniations, post-surgical spinal pain and spinal stenosis.  Often these conditions are extremely painful and take the joy out of life.  Helping these patients move better and feel better has been my life’s work.“

Mark Croucher is a doctor of chiropractic and the founder and clinic director of The Spine Center of Williamsburg. He is a member of the North American Spine Society (NASS) and performs scholarly peer review of new research for The Spine Journal.

NASS is a global multidisciplinary medical society that utilizes education, research and advocacy to foster the highest-quality, ethical, value- and evidence-based spine care for patients.

Dr. Croucher is an appointed member of the NASS Exercise Committee.  This is a multidisciplinary committee charged with evaluating and consolidating existing NASS exercise-related publications. Responsibilities further include educating spine care providers and patients about the role exercise can play in promoting spine health and reducing back pain.

A 1992 graduate of New York Chiropractic College and licensed to practice chiropractic by the Virginia Board of Medicine.  He is an active member of both the Virginia Chiropractic Association and the American Chiropractic Association.  Dr. Croucher is certified in Impulse Adjusting Technique.
